Privacy

Heilsa collects what it needs to run live testing and nothing more. This page says exactly what that is.

What this website collects

The live-testing form collects your email address, and optionally your name, household type, how often you cook, which problems you want Heilsa to solve, how you heard about us, and anything you write in the notes field. It also records the browser user agent the form was submitted from. Nothing else is collected, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

Why we collect it

To decide who to invite into the next testing batch, and to contact you about that invitation. The household context is what tells us whether Heilsa is a fit for you yet. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside Heilsa.

Analytics, without cookies

We use PostHog to understand which pages lead people to register. It runs in cookieless mode: nothing is stored on your device — no cookies, no local storage — and visitor counts are worked out from a privacy-preserving hash calculated on PostHog’s servers. That is why this site has no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to. Analytics data is processed in the EU, IP addresses are discarded on arrival, and we do not record sessions or replay what you do on the site.

What the app collects

Inside Heilsa, your household data — pantry items, shopping list, recipe activity — is stored so the app can work, and is visible to the members of your household. Heilsa is not a medical or nutrition service and should not be used for medical or dietary advice.

How long we keep it

Registrations are kept while live testing is running. If your household never joins, or you ask us to remove you, the registration is deleted.

Your rights and how to use them

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@heilsa.io from the address you registered with and we will action it.

Heilsa is in live testing, and this policy will be expanded before any general release. If something here is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.
