A plan that already knows your kitchen
Plan up to a fortnight of meals from the pantry you actually have, and leave the days you have not decided on empty.

Tonight, then the next few days, then honestly empty.
- Fourteen days of breakfast, lunch and dinner slots.
- Options are ranked by pantry coverage, what needs using, and recent repeats.
- Leftovers, eating out and skipped nights are slot types, not gaps.
- What the plan needs and the pantry lacks goes to the shopping list.
Ranked, not pre-filled
The plan starts empty and stays that way until you decide. Open a day and Heilsa orders the candidates: what the pantry already covers, what is closest to needing using, what nobody has eaten lately, and what everyone in the household can actually eat. The choice is still yours — the work that gets removed is the remembering.
Plans break, and that is accounted for
Most planners treat a changed evening as a failure state. Heilsa treats leftovers, eating out and a night you are skipping as real entries, because they are real answers to what is for dinner. Swap a slot, clear a day, or ignore the plan entirely for a week. The pantry stays the source of truth, so nothing downstream has to be rebuilt.
Cook it, and the pantry keeps up
Marking a meal cooked closes the loop the plan opened: Heilsa asks what it used and updates the shared pantry, and where a meal made more than the household ate, the remainder can become a leftovers night later in the week rather than a container nobody claims.
The rest of the loop
- Shared pantryHeilsa helps households keep a shared pantry, see what is available, and turn pantry state into dinner and shopping decisions.
- Recipe coverageHeilsa shows recipe coverage from your current pantry, and holds your own recipes — typed in or read from a photo — alongside the curated set.
- Shopping loopHeilsa connects pantry, recipes, and a shared shopping list so households know what to buy and why it matters.
- AI captureHeilsa uses AI to speed up pantry capture and read recipes from photos, inside a review-first workflow — not as a chatbot or nutrition adviser.
